Walk in Support of Refugees: Join us for the 2024 South Coast Ultra Challenge

Want to show solidarity with refugees while raising funds and enjoying some of England’s finest countryside?

Join us for the 2024 South Coast Ultra Challenge!

The event takes place on 7th and 8th September.

After a hugely successful event in 2023, we’re rallying a team of walkers, joggers and runners to make this year’s bigger than ever—raising essential funds to support refugees in the UK and Europe.

The distances range from 25 km to 100 km, and you can go completely at your own pace. Whether you’re a walker and new to challenge events, an experienced trekker, a marathon enthusiast upping the distance, or a seasoned ultra runner after UTMB points – there’s an option for you. The South Coast Ultra Challenge is fun, safe, and rewarding – with full support all the way.

Our team loved the 2023 Ultra Challenge. A beautiful day in beautiful countryside and raising money for a great cause. Some of our guys found it tough, which only added to the sense of achievement and team building aspect of the event.” – Chris Goodson, MD of Lime Recruit and our Chair of Trustees.

A fun, scenic event for all abilities

The spectacular route takes you up to the soaring cliffs of Beachy Head and Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea.

You’ll be fully supported at every step of the way: Entry includes a range of free food & drink at regular rest stops, and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. Plus, as you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

A well-organised event that we love

We’ve been taking part in Ultra events since 2021. They’re well organised and you feel fully supported from start to finish—from the clearly market routes and ample food & drink, to the crowds cheering you over the finish line.
