We need a Trustee who can join our fantastic leadership team to help us build stronger relationships with our ever growing group of past and present volunteers.
We’ve got a plan for the next 3 years and volunteers will continue to sit right at the heart of all that we do. They bring energy, ideas and enthusiasm. And lots of them raise money. After they volunteer, they continue to spread the important message that the world needs to do a better job of supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
Everything we have done is because of them and we want to keep them in the Refugee Support family. We also need to make sure that new volunteers have all they need and are well looked after when they are volunteering.
We would really love to appoint someone who has already volunteered for Refugee Support in Greece, Bangladesh, Mexico or Cyprus.
Our fantastic Board of Trustees is responsible for how we are governed. They make sure that we are fulfilling all our obligations to donors, employees, volunteers, suppliers and government bodies. You would work closely with them and with Chief Executive Paul to improve how we communicate with volunteers.
It’s a great opportunity to do something extremely rewarding but we need someone with lots of energy and commitment. The trustees meet online once every 2 months
