Want a free ticket to the Refugee Support event of the year, while contributing to a cause you care about?
We’re looking for volunteers to help out at Dignify 2024, which takes place on the evening of 7th November in Balham, South London.
Key tasks include:
- Fundraising:
- Distribute and collect pledge cards, encouraging donations.
- Talk passionately, succinctly (and proactively, where appropriate) to guests about our current projects and where their generous donations will go.
- Encourage guests to scan the QR code for our silent auction, enthuse about the prizes and market the auction throughout the evening.
- Staffing the door and cloakroom:
- Check names and issuing entry wristbands, take and ticket coats. We expect 250+ people to arrive within a short time, so high energy levels are required!
Support is required from 6pm and the event runs until 1am, so volunteers are welcome to work in shifts.
In return, we can of course offer you a free ticket to the event – a guaranteed evening of fun and laughter!
