Refugee story: Henry (Mar 19)

Henry is an only child from Lagos, Nigeria. He is a talented footballer and played with the national youth team for 3 years before he fled.

On the situation in Nigeria: ‘In Nigeria there are no human rights, no women’s rights, you cannot do anything without corruption. No rights for the people at all’

He has been in Greece for 18 months: 1 year spent at Moria camp on Lesvos and 6 months in Katsikas: ‘I cannot stay here… I cannot work, I cannot marry… I cannot do anything here’. He would like asylum France, Belgium or Spain.
